Linux + SecurePath + LVM + Eva5k
I have problem with LVM + Secure Path.
After installing SecurePath everything was OK, LUNS were visible by Linux OS.
I could create filesystem on disks. But when I have created LVM vg groups with Eva5k luns -
than during reboot process system hangs with kernel panic.
When I remove SecurePath software from OS system starts OK - I can use my LVM vg groups,
but I lose failover mechanism.

Re: Linux + SecurePath + LVM + Eva5k
What HPUX version do you have ?
Do you have met the minimal patch requirements for securepath ?
And if you have HPUX 11.0, have you saved the securepath configuration to the kernel after adding the LUN's ?

Re: Linux + SecurePath + LVM + Eva5k
But still, it could be nesseserry to save the configuration of securepath to the kernel.
