ProLiant DL580 not recognizing Virtual Disk

Hi,

My customer has a ProLiant DL580 with a SAN MA8000 with Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4.
They were having problems because Windows wasn't seeing all of their Virtual Disks.
They found there was an issue with LUN ID greater than 7 and applied a fix.
Now they are able to see partitions with LUN ID greater than 7 however when they are adding the last Virtual Disk (LUN ID 9) they cannot see it on Windows.

Is there any known issue about this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Cristhian

Hi.

I need a little more information in order to be able to help solve your issue.

It SOUNDS to me like you might have a lun masking issue. What are the unit numbers you are assigning, and what are the unit offsets for each of the connections for the server in question?
