Upgrade DL380 G4 Storage Server from W2k3 Sp1 to R2

Hi everyone,
I need some help at upgrading DL380 G4 Storage Server from W2k3 Sp1 to w2k3 R2 version. Then I tried to upgrade it ask me to enter new product key, so I can't upgrade my servers? I need to buy upgrade kit?

You can upgrade to Win2003 SP2 without buying anything extra, all the downloads are here:

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/1098_6203.html

Use the Installer Kit for SP2, and then you can apply the latest Service Release.

So only upgrade to W2k3 SP2 is for free...
Interesting why for upgrade to W2K3 Release 2 we need to pay money (I need Release 2 because only it have DFS Replicator service and other functionality for DFS)

Sky BT, this is Microsoft policy.
MS positioning R2 as stand-alone product, so you need to buy it if you want it.
Service Packs is not a stand-alone products, so they are free.
