Version Question
While I'm at it, please bear with me. This is our current setup and it's working fine:
- MA8000 w/firmware V86F-4
- Win2k AS SP3 w/ACSv8.6 and Secure Path v3.1 Software Update 2
With our new DL580 G2 servers, can I install v8.7 on the servers whlie keeping firmware on the HSG80s at v86F-4? And can I use Secure Path3.1 SP3 or v4?
Any help would be great;y appreciated.
Nico

Re: Version Question
You should never upgrade to a newer ACS level on the server nodes unless you have upgraded the HSG80 firmware levels to the same ACS version, the platform kits are desighned to run very specifically with the specific firmware levels that are run on the controllers.
Secure path for version 3.1a should be at sp3 level, however I would recommend getting an upgrade pack to the latest version v4
Sp level is now @ 13 on the hsg80 with ACS8.6 version also.
