As far as I can tell, Compaq/ HP never sold the LP950 so there is no name available.

No LP950s came from Compaq or are used today with storageworks

I wonder if lputil is reporting incorrectly. Both are proliants (a DL560 and a DL580G2).

They both have HP KPGSA kits installed. Presumably from EVA plat kit.

I doubt that a previous admin would have slipped in some non-HP HBA's.

I always have the same problem. It would help if HP had some kind of matrix so you can look up those things easily. I know Qlogic has a nice one but only for there adapters of course.
