We are experiencing a critical issue with VME Essentials where a VM resize task remains stuck for more than 20 hours.
The activity log shows the following sequence:
Resize — root volume expanding → stuck ~22 hours
Resize — Remove “data-2” 150 GiB volume → also took ~22 hours
Restart operation → completed normally
The VM remains in resizing state and does not complete or rollback.
Because of this, the VM cannot be managed normally (no further resize, no reconfigure, no add volumes, etc.).
we Also remove from xml file.

SolutionAfter removing a virtual machine from control using the “Remove from Control” option, we attempted to re-add the same VM back into Morpheus management.
The instance was successfully discovered and added again, the previous background task (resize / reconfigure / restart)cleared from the history.
