Re: How or where to get specifications of a failed disk drive on CS500 Nimble Storage.
Hello,
Hope you are doing good. They below information should help you with the failed drive details.
You can get the details of the disk by logging into the CLI console using putty / any other terminal software.
This command lists all disks on a standalone (single) array
disk --list
[--array array_name]
disk --info slot
[--array array_name]
This command lists only the disks on the specified shelf.
disk --list --shelf_location A.0
This command shows information about the hard disk drive in slot 1 in a single-array configuration.
disk --info 1
Let me know if you need any further assistance

Re: How or where to get specifications of a failed disk drive on CS500 Nimble Storage.
Thanks for sharing the above commands. I was able to figure it out with the
HPE CLI administration guide.
However, when I tried to order the disk, the vendor mentioned as below :
Can you please check the Disk serial number - I previously shared the
serial number from the out of "disk --list --shelf_location A.0"
I checked it with HP supplier and the answer was - this is not HP disk -
this is supremicro disk тАУ
Here is the link

<>
*Please advise how to verify whether the disk is HP or not or how we get
more detailed disk details.*
Thanks,
Mahesh Nalla
