nimble hf20 disk stauts

A previous disk malfunctioned, and the newly replaced disk accidentally pulled out the hard drive during synchronization. After plugging in the hard drive, its status changed to Spark mode.

Can anyone tell me what this status is

Hi,

Usually this happens when an incorrect part number/disk model is used. Was the disk delivered by HPE Nimble support?

Hello, the disk was not provided by the support department, but due to an incorrect operation, the hard disk was accidentally unplugged during hard disk synchronization and then plugged back in. Will this operation not have any impact?

Okay, this needs to be checked further from logs. Can you please create a support ticket referencing the array serial number?

Does the current spare status refer to the form of a hot spare disk?, When the storage pool hard drive fails, this hard drive will be directly replaced

For this issue, it is highly recommended to contact our 24*7 support team via phone for immediate resolution.

 

They will need the serial number and a short description on the issue. They will check the logs and provide resolution.
