I'm having an issue remediating firmware using vLCM - its worked in the past, but now just constantly fails with this error
Completed 03/17/2025, 3:34:30 PM
Remediation of cluster failed
Cannot download VIB 'https://hpe4vc.localdomain:3512/static/vsphere-web-client/cyefdkos/HPE-703.0.0.11.6.0.15-Sep2024-Addon-depot/vib20/ssacli2/MIS_bootbank_ssacli2_6.40.6.0-7.0.0.15525992.oem.vib'. This might be because of network issues or the specified VIB does NOT exist or does NOT have a proper 'read' privilege set. Make sure the specified VIB exists and is accessible from vCenter Server.
esx8.localdomain - Skipped remediation for this host
Host 'esx8.localdomain' was not processed, the reason: 'Cannot download VIB 'https://hpe4vc.localdomain:3512/static/vsphere-web-client/cyefdkos/HPE-703.0.0.11.6.0.15-Sep2024-Addon-depot/vib20/ssacli2/MIS_bootbank_ssacli2_6.40.6.0-7.0.0.15525992.oem.vib'. This might be because of network issues or the specified VIB does NOT exist or does NOT have a proper 'read' privilege set. Make sure the specified VIB exists and is accessible from vCenter Server.'
1 Host skipped
OneView is on version 9.30.00-0502470 - recently upgraded to allow the import of the 2025 SPP
OV4VC is on version 11.6.0 - which i believe is the latest.
If I curl the address from the vcenter CLI (and with a local browser) I get a 404 error
I'm going to try a custom ISO next, but I've not had any luck with them in the past.
Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers

Re: OneView/vCLM remediation fails
Hi @theAftab ,
1. Please make sure the specified VIB exists and is accessible from vCenter Server.
2. Verify the network configurations including IP addressing, DNS< proxy and time synchronisation etc.
3. Verify the update repository is configured correctly within OneView for vCenter.
4. Clear the cache for the update repository and force a resync from both vCenter and OneView.
Please refer this post.
If you are unable to perform any vLCM operations, please refer this document. Let me know if the issue is still persits.
I hope my post help you, if yes please give Kudos and mark my post as Accepted Solution.
Regards,
Shiva_jr

SolutionResetting Update Manager again sorted the issue.

Once reset, I reimported the Service Pack and attached it to the Image.
