Hello,
This is more of a request to get the scheduled backup fields for username and password to accept special characters. We use a Windows FTP server that requires login format to be domain\username or user@domain and this is not accepted in the username field. However, this is accepted on the GlobalDashboard scheduled backup fields, so why can it not be for Oneview? How do you submit this as a feature request?
Thank you

Re: Schedule Backup Fields Do Not Accept Special Characters
Unfortunately, special character support in the username field isn't currently supported today. It has been a low priority for us to address, but will look back at its overall priority in our backlog.

Re: Schedule Backup Fields Do Not Accept Special Characters
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand that special characters are not supported. The frustrating thing, is they are supported on the Global Dashboard, so it would seem that it shouldn't be too difficult to make it happen in Oneview. Thanks for the update and your help pushing it along!

Agreed and understood. I'm looking into the viability of this request, especially when OV and OVGD share similar implementations. That doesn't always mean it is a simple change/modification for either OV or OVGD.
