Primera A650 SW Version 4.5.7
Has anyone succesfully configured Windows Failove Cluster on VMWARE with storage provided by Primera?
I have tried with vvol provisioned deisk and vmfs provisioned disk, followed the documentation about 2nd SCSI Paravirtual, Physical Bus Sharing, etc
But when I get to build the cluster in windows the validation checks fail with
Test Disk x does not support SCSI-3 Persistent Reservations commands needed by clustered storage pool that use the Storage Spaces subsystems.
Cannot find any information online about whether this is even supported with Primera.
Thankyou

Re: Primera A650 array, VShere 8.01, WSFC Cluster
Hi Simon-Merry
Primera arrays support SCSI-3 persistent reservations. What is the host persona in use for these hosts?

SolutionI was using Windows Server 2016 on the hosts, and these had been migrated from another Vcentre setup hosted with different stroage..
I have since recreated the WSFC cluster from scratch with the Primera using Windows Server 2019 and am pleased to report this is working no issue.
I guess with the migration of the original VMs there must be some legacy setup relating to the original hosts and storage that prevented it working with the Primera.
Issue is now resolved.
