Hi,
im trying to update an DL325 GEN10 CLuster from 4.1.2 to 5.1U1.
Before i tried to Update to 5.2 and get an PreCheck Failure in the Update Manager that den DL325 GEN10 is not compatible to 5.2.
But wenn i now try to install 5.1U1 i get:
This cluster is unavailable for an upgrade to the current version as it is already prepared to upgrade to a higher version.
svt-software-status-show is clean:
Any Advise since Support Contract ist expired last month ?
Kind Regards
Marc

Re: Upgrade Fails: This cluster is unavailable for an upgrade to the current version as it
Hi @oppemarc
You may need to check if there is a pending upgrade flag in the system.
Upgrading a SimpliVity environment is not a very straight forward task.
Double-check the compatibility of your hardware and software versions with 5.1U1. Refer to the HPE SimpliVity Interoperability Guide to ensure all components (vCenter, ESXi, firmware, etc.) are supported for 5.1U1.
Re-run the pre-upgrade checks to ensure there are no hidden issues.
Also, review the logs for any specific errors or warnings that might indicate why the system is blocking the upgrade.
To investigate further and resolve the issue, I recommend reaching out to HPE SimpliVity support. Since your support contract has also expired, they might help in providing assistance.
Regards,
Sanika.
