Migration from Synergy Composer to Synergy Composer 2
Hi, good day.
I been working on migrating 2 linked Synergy 12000 Frame with HP Synergy Composer to Synergy Composer 2.
Is there is some baseline hardware requierments or compatiblity issues that I should know?
I checked the docs and have the Frimware requierments, but I cant find a compatibility matrix for hardware.
Is there any compatibility issues with Synergy 12000 frame compatible components?

Re: Migration from Synergy Composer to Synergy Composer 2
There are no differences in compatibility. An HPE Synergy Composer2 is a direct replacement for a Composer (1st gen).

Re: Migration from Synergy Composer to Synergy Composer 2
So I shoud be able to just swap thew? Following all migrating procedour of course.
No "Your HPE Synergy Compute 480 Gen10 is not compatible with HPE Synergy Composer 2" or with other componets that are compatible with Synergy 12000?

Re: Migration from Synergy Composer to Synergy Composer 2
Yes, follow the migration procedure.
There are some interrelated firmware depencencies that are not hardware compatibility issues. For example, if you have Gen9 compute modules and you were frozen at a particularly older firmwar bundle then you would have a hard time finding a bridge to migrate. to something current because that support ended independently from the Composers.
In general, use the tools provided online to confirm your server or other hardware.compatibility with firmware bundles:

The HPE Synergy Composer hardware itself has no such restrictions. I assume you've already updated to the lastest HPE OneView 6.60.xx, hopefully you have already updated to SSP 2023.10.01. If you were coming from something significantly older (e.g. 5.x) there is a separate document to help with some intermediary steps.
