I am planning to replace a system board on Synergy 480 G11 running ESX 8.0 and TPM enabled.
I want to know how to prevent boot issues because of TPM module changing with the replacement of the board.
Thank you

SolutionBefore replacing the system board, ensure you have the BitLocker recovery key is available. This is critical because the TPM module, which securely stores encryption keys, is physically tied to the system board. Replacing the board effectively changes the TPM, which can trigger BitLocker to enter recovery mode upon the next boot.
