report that shows switch inventory

Hi all,

Is it possible to get an report from IMC that shows switch inventory? In this case I'm looking for a report that can show how many PSU a switch have installed.

IMC version 7.3 E0705P2

Hello Jesper,

I don't think iMC has a report for that particular need (Power Supplies). There is a Device Asset Report V2 which you could check for a list of all your devices with their serial/part numbers including modules, but this doesn't list components that do not have an SN - and ArubaOS/ProCurve generally do not include such information, while Comware-based devices tend to, so you may get mixed results.

What you could check for PSU count in your devices instead, is the Resource > Network Assets list. Run a Query for Network Assets with the Class = Power, and you should get a list of all PSUs which iMC has detected for each device. This can also be exported to CSV.
