Adding a management card to RX2600

Hi
The last year a customer bought a Rx2600 without the Management Processor Card.

Now he has bought the MPC ,

My questions are:

I only have to install the card? ,
or also is necessary to rebuild the kernel ?.

I know about that I have to change the configuration in the card to get output by the new MPC.

yes u have to install the card and boot the server, as soon as server boots it will automatically create device files ( as insf -e it runs). no kernel rebuild is required in this case.
Time has a wonderful way of weeding out the trivial
