MSA 1040 FW update
Hello all. I've updated the FW on my MSA 1040 Storage. I installed the GL225P002-02-HP version and After the update, I cant see all information through GUI Interface. Even I can't choose between older and newer GUI versions. The physical, Vdisks, Hosts information is not shown when I click on it.I've tried with 3 different FW versions with the same behavior.
Some experience with this issue?
Thanks!

Re: MSA 1040 FW update
What was the old version from which you have updated to GL225P002-02?
Did you tried different web browser ?
Did you tried accessing SMU GUI from different system?
Are you able to access all details properly from Command line?
I would never suggest to update or downgrade Controller firmware again and again until MSA expert having specific instruction to do the same.
Hope this helps!

Re: MSA 1040 FW update
Hello, thanks for your response.
What was the old version from which you have updated to GL225P002-02?
GLS200R12-01
Did you tried different web browser ?
Yes, with the same behavior.
Did you tried accessing SMU GUI from different system?
Yes, I tried it!
Are you able to access all details properly from Command line?
Yes, the CLI works so fine
At this moment I installed the GL220P010 and the MSA is working OK, but I need to update to a most recent version

Re: MSA 1040 FW update
Ideally Controller firmware update path,
GL200 -> GL220 -> GL225
So if you are at GL220 then you can directly update to GL225 with latest version.
Hope this helps!

Re: MSA 1040 FW update
Hello,
You mentioned you upgraded from GL200R12-01 to GL225P02-02. That is a large leap for the system to make. As mentioned, it is recommended to install GL220 and then go to GL225 first to ensure all the components get properly upgraded.
So let's go back and make sure you got the system fully upgraded. Using the CLI please provide the output for the following command - #CLI show versions detail
What we would like to see is if the MC versions match and are up to the correct level for the bundle version. It might be that you performed an upgrade but one or more of the MCs did not get upgraded.
You also might want to try to clear your browser's cache. Log into both controllers and determine if the SMU behavior is the same.

Re: MSA 1040 FW update
Hello,
As mentioned please upgrade to GL225P002-02 using the HPE SMart Component. Check and confirm your upgrade completed successfully.
Once the upgrade is complete be sure to clear all cache and history from your browser prior to attempting to log into SMU.
Goodluck!
