MSA 2040 Drive Compatibility

I recently recieved drive part number 689287-004, model EG0900FCSPN from a VAR as a replacement for drive part number 641552-004, model EG0900FBVFQ. The replacement drive is to be installed in a HPE MSA 2040 enclosure. Thus far I can not find any documentation that says the replacement I've recieved is certified to be used in the MSA 2040. Can anyone point me to some documentation where I could deturmine compatibility?

Sorry @support_s , neither of those documents seem to be a solution. Neither of them have any 6GBps drives listed and that includes the drives that originally came with the MSA 2040. There must be another resource out there to determine compatibility.

Both drive model EG0900FCSPN and EG0900FBVFQ supported with MSA2040. Please refer below link where we search for MSA drive firmware, there it also suggests which all MSA model this drive is applicable,
