Supported Products and end of life

I have previously received roadmaps that show when HP hardware will become 'end of life' and no longer supported. How can I get my hands on current roadmaps?

At this point in time, the HP Netserver support statement is located at http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/platforms/transition.html#support. This states "HP will continue to support NetServer products through their standard warranty and support terms for five years after October 31, 2002."

Re: Supported Products and end of life

Thanks that helps, but I'd like to know when the old Netserver kit (e.g. RS/8's and disk for them) becomes unsupported?

Re: Supported Products and end of life

Send an email to Netserver support for this information:

nacmsupport@hp.com

Be sure and put "Netserver" somewhere in the subject line to prevent delays in routing.

For end of life and/or end of support, if you can include the HP product number this is very helpful. For the SS6 there is only one = D3604B. But for other products, such as the RS/12 (Rack Storage/12) and Netserver models, there are different product numbers. EOS and EOL is based on the product number. Thanks!

Let me answer your question specifically on the RS/8:

Discontinued: May 1999
Minimum support date: through Aug 2004
