Please forgive the remedial question, I am new to HP storage. I have a MSA1000 with an attached MSA30. I have it carved up into LUNs as a SAN.
Of the servers that connect to this SAN, once if a file server. I was wondering if I could carve out a LUN and set it as a NAS and migrate the user & departmental drives to the NAS and eliminate the file server. I know I would have to remap their drives. Is this possible?
Thank you for your time.
