Apache 2.0 Downloads

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a minor problem, albeit rather irritating.

I'm trying to download apache 2.0.39 from the www.hp.com/go/webservers website, however ever time I select the relevant link I get an error message reporting that the product number is incorrect. The only link that works in the link for apache on 10.20 which is supplied via the porting center.

I know, I have downloaded that version, however I wanted to use the HP Prebuilt one for some product testing.

Also it worked last week :)

I followed the link and used the "Contact HP" link from the left.

This brings up a window where you can report the error. I have reported it, but you may want to do the same so that you can provide you name and email address where to be notified that this has been addressed.

Hi Cheryl,

After about 20 minutes of trying to find an email address to mail to, I used the webmaster feedback form to report the error.

However the only reply I got was an automated thanks.

I got the automated email as well. It says that there should be a response within 24 hours to my request. I'll keep you posted.

Well I just did exactly the same as you, so I will let you know if I get anything back :).

I have tried several alternative naming conventions, just to see if the webpage has an error, however nothing worked.. so we'll have to wait and see I guess.

While you're waiting for the web page to be fixed, please have a look at this doc id on the ITRC knowledge database HPSBUX0207-197

It contains info and the ftp site for downloading the latest HP versions of Apache. Is this what you're after?
