						Can anyone advise on this Ignite failure please.  The Ignite tape was created for me using :
# make_tape_recovery -A -v -d /dev/rmt/0mn

have you checked this:
NOTE: Search for the word "ERROR" in the log file for details:
on a server: /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x00306E069660/install.log
on a client: /var/opt/ignite/local/install.log
Can you show us the log?

						What type of system was this created on?  And what type of system are you restoring to?
If there is too much difference in the systems, you could have problems just like this.

Looks like patrick is on the right track, either you have a different platform, or you are having a hardware problem on the server you are re-installing.
