Can I run Oracle ASM under HPVM? it's that possible ? if so?

Can you help me with that? guides? docs?

In lieu of any official info from Oracle, I would expect them to take the same approach as for VMWare - i.e. you can do it if you like, and expect 'reasonable effort' support, but any issues must be reproduced outside the VM before Oracle will look at them.

Which I would translate as OK for dev/test, maybe not suitable for prod.

My only advice in configuration is that ASM expects to be talking to raw disk, so definately don't use a file as a backing store for your VM, and I would think twice about LVM/VxVM as well... better to use raw disk.
