cannot install update-ux

hi

i am trying to install update-ux on my system
but i cannot find Update-UX on my hpux-11i installation CD (feb 2001).

i am not sure why.

Are you referring to the update program? This was used prior to 10.00 and is no longer available. It was replaced with swinstall and the SD (Software Distributor) utilities.

thank you for your reply.

i was reading HP-UX 11i Installation and Update Guide edition 4, and they are mentioning in the upgrade procedure installing update-ux from the installation cd 1 before upgrading from hp-ux 11 to hpux 11i.
