CD Creation

I have just responded to the HP Services News Questionaire about DVD distribution. One of the questions related to creating CDs from DVD, however when I asked a year ago about CD writers to run under HP-UX, HP told me that there was no suitable hardware/software for HP-UX and I should go via a PC. Is this no longer true? If there are CD writers available can someone point me in the right direction.
