Creation of Guest User in FTP

Hi All,

Could you please anyone help me out,

How to configure / create a guest user in ftp ?

I think .netrc file is used for the creation.

Not .netrc...

the ftpd man page describes how to configure anonymous or guest access ( lock it down as it is a security issue ).

By default, any user with a userid/password on the system can use ftp..
