DCE question
We have a K580 Running HP-UX 10.20
with DCE (Single-Server).
We are experiencing problems with
the DCE attempting to go out through
the other ethernet interfaces on this
machine. This behavior is causing the
performance to be very slow.
We want it (DCE) to "just" use the
primary interface and nothing else.
Could someone tell me how to configure
our DCE to do that?
I did edit the /etc/rc.config.d/dce
and put the following into that file,
but we see the other IP's keep showing
up.
export RPC_SUPPORTED_NETADDRS=
Thanks

Re: DCE question
Where do you see other IP addresses coming Up? DCE Straight out of the box should work just fine for you without ANY configuration requirements.
What exactly are your attempting to accomplish? How many interfaces do you have? What is your DCE communications requirement? Where are you seeing the additional IP Addresses?
