Decompress OS

Hi everybody,

My company purchases a new system (rp4440 & OS 11iv2). Could you please inform me how I can decompress a new system?

Re: Decompress OS

What you mean with decompress?
If your system is not installed look at installation guides: http://docs.hp.com/en/oshpux11iv2.html#Installing%20and%20Updating

Re: Decompress OS

If you want to re-configure it completely, you need an installation CD. Load the CD or DVD and then reboot / reset your server. Interrupt the autoboot when you see "To discontinue, press any key within 10 seconds." press a key to stop autoboot. Type "sea" to find your CD/DVD rom. Then, type bo P1 (suppose P1 is your CD). When the system booted from CD you will be guided to install your server.

If you never install a server, you'd better find a installation manual.

Good luck.
