disk info

Hi Iam a bit new to the XP 12000 , I would appreciat eif anyone can help me on the below

1) Is there a shell script which would tell me how much storage I have allocated to a host on hp-ux.

2) I think my cluster systems are also showing those disk, how can I know how much storage is allocated , is there any script on hp-ux.

Hi,

HP can provide you a pretty tool for your XP named xpinfo. Ask them for it.

I have xpinfo , but I need something like total vg allocated on that machine linked with the xpinfo output

Still not sure what you need.

How about "xpinfo -m"?

You will get a result like

/dev/rdsk/c4t0d0 XP1024 OPEN-E 13893MB

Total vg or total disk allocated - mean different things.

Example, I have a script that does:
