SolutionProblem Description
When I run eased2, the following error displays:
eased2 ... File I/O failed
What is causing this error?
Configuration Info
Operating System - HP-UX
Version -9.01
Hardware System -735
Solution
The reason for the error is the file /usr/HPEASE/config/eased2.dat has become corrupted.
The solution is to copy a previously saved copy over it. Copies can be found under:
/usr/HPEASE/hours.db/1995xx/yy/01/
where
xx is the month
yy is the day of month
