Hi,
Because of a dead disk a faulty disk, EMS produced the following message.
---
The device has been removed from the list of devices being monitored by this monitor.
---
Q. Should I do anything after replacement to
re-activate monitoring? monconfig shows that everything is OK.
Thanks and points in adavance!

Hi Mihails,
No. Once the disk shows up in the ioscan after the replacement, EMS will automatically pickup. You do not need to do anything.
Run monconfig and type "C" and make sure this disk is listed in there.
