EMS restart notification

Every 15 minutes an email gets sent to root saying:

Date: Thu, 11 Jan 2001 15:32:42 -0800 (PST)
Message-Id: <200101112332.PAA11873@lucky.>
To: root@lucky
From: root@lucky
Subject: lucky: Event Monitor Restart Notification

>------------ Event Monitoring Service Event Notification ------------<

Notification Time: Thu Jan 11 15:32:42 2001

lucky sent Event Monitor Restart information:

Title: dm_core_hw
Command: /usr/sbin/stm/uut/bin/tools/monitor/dm_core_hw
Vendor: Hewlett-Packard Company
Version: B.01.00
Monitor PID: 11849

Resources currently monitored:
/system/events/core_hw/core_hw

>---------- End Event Monitoring Service Event Notification ----------<

This is a brand new server, HPUX was factory installed. Does anyone know why this thing keeps restarting itself? Is this normal?

Thanks

Re: EMS restart notification

Well you do not state which version of HP-UX you are running, but I will assume 11.x
If so you should locate and load PHSS_23066 obtainable from the ITRC.
Be aware it has a dependency on PHCO_22628
