or tcpdump or even the use of nettl

equivalent for snoop on hpux is etherreal as mentioned above by Michael.

Hi,

Pls try with the network tracing tool installed by default on HP-UX (nettl). For detailde info: man nettl

Other third party tool may be tcpdump, you can download it from www.tcpdump.org. A similar posted case indicates that you can install it from the "HP Internet Express" software from software.hp.com.

The HP-UX Internet Express bits (software.hp.com) include both tcpdump and ethereal if you don't want to get it from the porting archives or build them yourself from source.
