Fail in booting from an ignite-ux image in K380

Hi,
I'm trying to boot a K380 from a Dvd with an image prepared with ignite-ux. After having interrupted the boot sequence and having typed boot , the boot fails with the following message:

HARD Booted.
ISL Revision 1.0.0.44 Mar 12, 2003
ISL booting (;0):INSTALL
Boot
: disk(10/12.5.2.0.0.0.0.0;0):INSTALL
disk(10/12.5.2.0.0.0.0.0;0):INSTALL: cannot open, or not executable

Could someone help me in clarifying why? Note that the same Dvd boots normally on other servers (i.e. some Rp5470).

What type of architecture was the image taken from? The fact that it will work with rp5470 type architecture is the clue here. The differences between the rp series and the k series are too great for this to succeed.

Are you sure your K class has a DVD drive?
To me it looks more like it cannot read because its a CD drive...
My 2 cents...
To check:
do a ioscan -funC disk|grep DVD-ROM

I solved the issue interacting with IPL and booting by:
hpux (;0):WINSTALL
I found this tip an a piece of documentation and I'm not so expert to understand what I did but the Os now has been installed and works like a charm ...
