fcmsutil command
Hi,
The output of the fcmsutil command for Topology of the HBA card is "IN_PRIVATE_LOOP".
How to change it to "PTTOPT_FABRIC"
Thanks in advance,
YC

Re: fcmsutil command
You cant change it from the HP-UX end, the card autodetects the configuration depending on the port on the fabric switch/hub its plugged into - that needs configuring. Once its changed the HP will autodetect and change to PTTOPT_FABRIC.
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

Re: fcmsutil command
Hi,
You need to make sure that the port your connecting to is actually set up as 'fabric'. in your switch. If your port in the switch is already set this way reset the card within 'fcmsutil'.
