Re: GUI for vpar management ?

There is a Vpar GUI, but ONLY for HP-UX 11.11

HP has not bought out a GUI for Vpars under HP-UX 11iv2 or v3

Re: GUI for vpar management ?

Hello,

Melvyn already gave you a good answer.

vparmgr GUI was for HP-UX 11.11.

To be frank, if you use HP-UX 11.31,
the dynamic nPars would be a way to go.

Cheers,

Well SIM is a gui based management product, so if you want to use it, then you will need to use a GUI.

SIM is a managament tool that allows you to manage multiple servers from one central management server (CMS), giving various displays as per your selection/choice. Frome here you select the servger and tool to use on that server.

So yes, you can use it for SuperDomes and otyher HP-UX servers

Re: GUI for vpar management ?

quite a bit. I suggest you take a read of http://docs.hp.com/en/netsys.html#HP%20Systems%20Insight%20Manager
or suggest the customer attend the HP SIM course provided by HP Education
