Re: How can I get the MAC #
lanscan
does it.
I know that you will ignore my request to assign points since I already wrote it in the following your thread
http://forums2.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=939557
It is an etiquette of this forum and 0/29 is not so good.
Best regards,
Fabio

Re: How can I get the MAC #
the mac address in hpux is changable... if ur requirement is to find the factory set mac address of the card... then download
Use the 'counters'utility from the WTEC page:
http://wtec.cup.hp.com/~netux/NetToolRep/#LAN_LINKS
./counters.11 -p X|grep address
where X is the PPA number...
by counters u can check the functionality of the card also... very useful tool...
like others said, u can use lanscan command also...
Good Luck!
