How to add a remote printer?
i want to add a remote printer onto one of my
hp-ux 10.20 WS via sam.Let's say hostA
On the other hand,with same spec of hostB
means hp-ux 10.20 here is the output from sam
hp750c network yes, idle yes - ^ x
xx hptka network yes, idle yes - x
xx hptkb network yes, idle yes - x
xx hptkl network yes, idle yes - x
xx xerox_tka1 remote yes, idle yes raw on 10.21.0.242 x
xx xerox_tka2 remote yes, idle yes raw on 10.21.0.243 x
xx xerox_tkb remote no yes raw on 10.21.0.244 x
xx xerox_tke remote yes, idle yes raw on 10.21.0.241 x
xx xqueu_tk remote yes, idle yes raw on 10.21.0.240
Now i want to add xqueu_tk remote yes, idle yes raw on 10.21.0.240
to my hostA via sam or from ux command prompt
How?

seems your printer xqueu_tk is already remote on hostB, so just copy the setup from hostB onto hostA.
Using SAM
-> Printer and Plotters
-> LP Spooler
-> Printers and Plotters
Action Add Remote Printer
Fill in details and save

i was able to define it onto my hostA but still not get print out xqueu_tk remote yes, idle yes raw on 10.21.0.240
but HostB have the same settings and using this printer!!!

so the problem has moved on.
You have the printer added to hostA, but can not print to it. Any error messages.
Do a lpstat -s and post the output.
