How to capture the ODE logs

Other than connecting a laptop to the serial / console port, how does one capture the logs from the Offline Diagnostics Environment?

Re: How to capture the ODE logs

Hello,

you can connect to the MP via LAN from a different HPUX system and use "script" command to capture the terminal session.

See: script(1M)

Re: How to capture the ODE logs

Good idea. But this only works through the dedicated MP Lan port, correct? I don't have it set up, so is there another way?

Re: How to capture the ODE logs

What do you use currently? A real terminal?
This can only send the output to a printer ...

Consider to use a PC with with something like putty and connect serial or setup the GSP IP address.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: How to capture the ODE logs

Well I guess it can only be done through the console and using a program like Hyperterminal.

Thanks anyway.
