Hi,
J2240, Dual CPU, 512Mb RAM, HP-UX 11i.
Using local loopback, when connecting via TCP more than about 1000 to 1250 connections, I start getting errno 233 (ENOBUFS) on the receiving end.
It really looks like I need PHNE_23456, but apparently this is included in 11i.
Any clues where I can go from here?

Hi
yes , i know that the patch need to me add to 11i and there isnt a patch for 11i .
found a doc about how to try to handle this error
i m putting also all the doc if you want to see but it is for 11.00 and not 11i
How this error should be handled ?
==================================
If this can be seen with existing application, just ignore
the error. Since this can happen when we receive RST just
after SYN, the connection request is anyway cancelled.
There should be no serious problem.
If the application aborts with this error situation, it
should be re-written so that it will retry accept() system
call. ENOBUFS is usually indicating transient error. So,
aborting the application just by seeing this error once
should not be proper action. The application should be
modified so that it gets more robustness.
