Hi,
We are getting “I/O Error Failed to create duplicate link” error on one of our hp-ux server, when running a process.
We (sysadmin) team are in a confusion, whether this is a os-side issue or application issue?
Any suggestions???
Server Details:-
Model - rp8440
OS – hpux 11.11
CPU - 4
Mem – 12GB
Swap – 20GB
Thanks in advance.
Prasu

						Hi:
> Sujit: May I respectfully point out that in English, "u" is a letter and "you" is the pronoun for the one being addressed. Since you apparently work for HP, I think it is appropriate that you know.

						Hi,
You may want to use tusc while you run this process/program.
Please see
http://h21007.www2.hp.com/portal/site/dspp/menuitem.863c3e4cbcdc3f3515b49c108973a801/?ciid=61086d6e1de021106d6e1de02110275d6e10RCRD
for tusc usage, and can download tusc from
http://gatekeep.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/tusc-7.9/
This may give you more idea of which system call is actually giving this error and thus point you in the correct direction.
Regards,
Ninad
