SolutionThe archive is too big for 1 tape, ignite want to ask you for a second, but can not do this (because it was run in a script).
1) too much data for 1 tape
or
2) bad tape
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Ignite back up failed
This is not a error related to tape. Its related to pax. Pls check the man pages for pax. what is the function of it. And try to corelate with ur senario.
