ignite based installation fails to select products on rx2800 i2
We have customized ignite based installation DVD (HP-UX 11iv3 September 2010 OE) in which we have a set of products.
While starting the installation, a couple of products are not selected.
WARNING: Could not find Q_BOOT device. Cannot determine what the boot device
was.
WARNING: Could not find source device in ioscan output. You must select from
the list of devices below to use for the source device:
Is this correct? ([y]/n): *
Response was: y
WARNING: Software selection "HPOC-B_11_31-SEP" will not be loaded. It was
selected (probably due to a previous saved installation) but it does
not reference an existing software source.
WARNING: Software selection "Sudo" will not be loaded. It was selected
(probably due to a previous saved installation) but it does not
reference an existing software source.
These products are available in the DVD but ignite fails to select the products.
Please note that the same installation works fine on rx3600, rx2620 but fails on rx2800 i2 servers.
Anything to suspect.

Re: ignite based installation fails to select products on rx2800 i2
Shalom,
I suspect your disks are not configured correctly.
If your system has hardware raid, you should boot at console into the built in utility and make sure there is not some kind of set up that makes the disk unavailable for installation.
Look at the system and the disks that the indicator lights are green.
