Re: inittab failure

Remove all the serial connections and identify if there is a short circuit !

Hi,
See next thread, this will help:

You can disable the samd in the /etc/inittab .

Re: inittab failure

Hi,

Have any files in /etc/rc.config.d been modified since the last reboot? These files should only contain variable assignments ie START_SAMBA=1.

regards,

Darren.

Re: inittab failure

There was a problem with samd. You can upgrade to latest SAM patch.

Alternatively, you can disable the samd by commenting it out in the /etc/inittab file and re-examine the initialization process - "/sbin/init q"

Hope this helps.

Re: inittab failure

I had the same problem building a server last week. I followed this document to fix it.
