Java1.5 missing files

Hi Gang:

Many thanks to those who have tried to help me but sometimes, I am beyond help. We have Java1.3, Java1.4, and Java1.5 available to our development users. I recently installed 1.5, both the SDK and RTE environments. One of our users, gets the error message "Error: could not find libjava.sl" and "Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment". If I do a find starting at / for libjava.sl, I find multiple instances of this file, just not in the correct spot.

I did notice that there is no PA_RISC or PA_RISC2.0 directories either. Anybody have any suggestions?

Did you install the HPUX version?
http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/?jumpid=go/java

If so, you might try de-installing and re-installing.

I might have installed Itanium versions by mistake. I have removed 1.5 and am downloading PA_RISC versions now.

Loaded Itanium version rather than PA_RISC version.
