Knowing IP Address

I want to know the IP addresses of the people who are logged in to a server.

How can I check the same?

The second "LINE" column will tell you whether teh user is logged in through console or otherwise.

Hi,

you can also use who -R to find the ip/hostname.

ps -ef |grep or pid and then kill -9
