Licensing question on Superdomes

I know I need to talk to out sales rep probably but I thought I'd throw this out and see if anyone has done this.

We may be selling one of our Superdomes. It has 5 cell boards. If we were to sell it what all is transferable to the new owner. The hardware it self I'm sure is. What about the RTU for the cpu's, would that transfer as well? The LTU for the Operating Environment is another consideration.

Thanks for any insights into this.

Re: Licensing question on Superdomes

Shalom,

everything is transferable. Its important to transfer the LTU or if the new owner tries to put it into production use HP will deny them this becasue the LTU information is wrong.

HP has an office for properly transferring LTU's. I found this out when we failed to get LTU's from a re-seller who sold us machine.

Someone at the reseller lost his job over that one.

Re: Licensing question on Superdomes

Thank you Steven,

That's what I was guessing. When/if the time comes we'll work the transfer out through HP, I'm sure our support rep can put us in contact with the right people.

I appreciate your assistance.
