Even we tried to increase with 1 PE, it is not extending.
lvextend -L 150016 /dev/vgprod1/sldapplv /dev/dsk/c10t0d0 /dev/dsk/c10t0d1 /dev/dsk/c10t0d2 /dev/dsk/c10t0d3 /dev/dsk/c12t0d0 /dev/dsk/c12t0d1 /dev/dsk/c12t0d2 /dev/dsk/c12t0d3
lvextend: Not enough free physical extents available.
Logical volume "/dev/vgprod1/sldapplv" could not be extended.
On Host abcd:
/etc/lvmpvg file is of 0 byte, which is not contaning any entry of PVG group
On Failover host xyz:
/etc/lvmpvg contains entry of few PVG group, but not of above all disk.
Please suggest where would be the mistake?

Re: lvextend: Not enough free physical extents available.
Because the allocation is pvg-strict I would first create a lvmpvg file that matches the current configuration, then do
lvextend -L 150016 /dev/vgprod1/sldapplv
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: lvextend: Not enough free physical extents available.
If you don't care about the PVG-strict allocation that can be changed with the 'lvchange' command and the '-s' option.
lvchange -s y /dev/vgprod1/sldapplv
will change it so it is just a 'strict' allocation policy rather than PVG-strict.
I agree that since it was PVG-strict the best solution is to create the /etc/lvmpvg file.
