It does not exist on PA-RISC-only versions of HP-UX (11.11 and below).
Googling for "machinfo" produces mostly documentation for GNU Mach OS kernel. I believe that if machinfo does not come included with your OS version, you're out of luck.
It seems to me that the STM diagnostics (xstm or mstm) would tell you the same kind of information (and probably more) on PA-RISC that machinfo would on Itanium.

you can use dmesg , uname, model, getconf commands get those.
You can use sysinfo script to get system informations there.

machinfo is bundled in OS-Core.USRCONTRB
on HP-UX 11.23 (Itanium) you can find it in
/usr/contrib/bin/machinfo

Solutionthe machinfo tool is designed for Itaniums only. Just checked the source and it's indeed not portable to PA without re-writing parts of it. Even on 11.23PI there's no PA version included.
