maxdsiz : unable to allocate memory

Hi,

I unknowingly modified the maxdsiz kernel parameter to a very low value.

Now, I am not able to run any program :all give the error : unable to allocate memory.

I tried to increase the maxdsiz value but the mk_kernel is failing.

Any idea : what should I do now ?

Thank you.

Regards,
Jayesh

Re: maxdsiz : unable to allocate memory

Hi,

Try to boot from the backup-kernel.
It is found in /stand/vmunix.prev
and then set maxdsiz to a reasonable value.
